An Email From United Kingdom?

Hope you get this on time,sorry I didn't inform you about my trip in UK for a Program, I'm presently in UK and am having some difficulties here because i misplaced my wallet on my way to the hotel where my money and other valuable things were kept. presently i have limited access to internet,I will like you to assist me with a loan of $2,000 Dollars to sort-out my hotel bills and to get myself back home.

I have spoken to the embassy here but they are not responding to the matter effectively,I will appreciate whatever you can afford to assist me with,I'll Refund the money back to you as soon as i return,let me know if you can be of any help.I don't have a phone where i can be reached.
Please let me know immediately.

I got this email last month. Apparently, it was from Ann, using yahoo email account.

I wonder why Ann asked me, and why she wrote email in English. Ann and me work at the same company, but different division and different office. We both Indonesian, and we always talk in Bahasa Indonesia. I remember about two years ago Ann went to Australia, not to UK.

Because Ann said, she does not have a phone where she can be reached, I asked a friend who works at the same office with Ann. She told me, Ann is not going to UK, she is in the office . She said, other friend also got the same email. I guess somebody had stolen Ann yahoo account and sent this email to Ann's friends.
